Q Where do you teach and go infield?
A We teach in various private bars, private rooms in pubs, clubs & restaurants. Infield is usually around Central London, and places that are filled with bars, and are situated in fun and respectable areas - including areas like Old Street, Clapham Common, Fulham.
Q How much money will I need in the evenings?
A You will only need money for a light meal and soft drinks, each night. Its unusual for us to go into venues that charge. You will also need drink and lunch money for the day game training.
Q How much do Sarge School boot camps cost?
A The Basic & Advanced Bootcamps cost £99 each. Although there are different deals: if you book up both Basic & Advanced, you will only pay £179. To have an extra 2 hours privately, choose the Bootcamp Extra option - this will entitle you to 2 hours 1on1 for only an extra £20 - thats £10 an hour! The deposit is paid online - and the remainder of whatever package you chose will be paid on the first evening you arrive. Eg. You book Bootcamp Extra - A £49 deposit will be payed through Paypal, then the remaining £150 will be paid cash on the Friday evening of your first bootcamp.
Q Will Sarge School visit other cities outside London?
A We have had many requests to visit other areas outside London. We will usually go to any place around Europe, as long as the travelling, accommodation and other charges will be covered - plus the usual bootcamp costs, and a cover charge to provide this service. Call us in advance and we will arrange something to fit exactly what you need. All costs must be paid up in advance.
Q What should I bring and wear to the boot camps?
A Wear comfortable clothes, that are smart. Wear clothes that you would use for evenings out in bars and clubs. I would advice wearing smart shoes, and bringing identification. Bring a note pad and a pen - and take notes - you will not be able to take in everything! Please respect the venues we go to for the lectures, and purchase drinks there, not bringing in your own. One reason we can offer the affordable prices we do, is that we promise to generate money for the venue through food and drink - and have reduced venue cover / hiring charge.
Q Do I get a discount if I only want to go infield with you, or just do the lectures?
A You will receive a discount is you attend just the lecture. We do not give discount if you simply want to turn up for the infield session. We have a strict policy where the ratio of student to trainer is 1:1. We can have more students when doing lectures, but more students infield will make us more like other bootcamps, where they offer 2 or 3 students to 1 trainer.
Q How many students attend your boot camps?
A We have 6 students per boot camp - this is aligned with the amount of experienced wings / trainers we have. We are continually training up people to strengthen our team, and so we can offer more seats on the bootcamps. We are very choosy and thorough with our student to wing to trainer conversion. Opportunities are available, although it is a low percentage that actually get an opportunity to teach.
Q What is the success rate of students during and after a Sarge School boot camp?
A Keeping contact with the students is crucial for Sarge School to learn and grow. The emails we recieve back, our testimonials and talking to the students after are a source of information and improvement. Theyre success rate is good. 'Results' are not used as reference, the main focus is on personal improvements - we have had amazing letters from guys after they had an eye opening weekend, even though they only spoke to a couple of girls. Others have walked away with numbers, dates, instant dates, one night stands, relationships from this.We like to help people mature, in the long term, rather than working just for phone numbers and kisses.
Q Are there any preparations I need to do before I attend one a of your boot camps?
A You may need to read the book 'The Game' if you havent already. Its the book that started the whole pick up community. You may also watch and read as many 'fundamental' and basic material that is available. Its important that you dont submerge yourself with too much information. As well as learning from reading and seminars, infield experience is crucial.
Q Should I arrange staying at a hotel if I live far away?
A Of course. We will tell you in advance where the venue is. A will give you options of the best and most affordable places to go, if we know of anything. We have students drive from all areas around the UK. Including Scotland, Leeds, Bradford, Bournemouth, Northampton, Brighton. Although, the majority are in and around London.
Q Are you interested in doing business with Sarge School or helping behind the scenes?
A There are areas that could be useful if you can help. Including Marketing, Webdesign / maintenance / SEO, Sales, Advetising, Administration, Solicitor. And others. We have a few people that have helped us, and are currently helping us, the hours they put in are weighed up and rewarded with Bootcamps, 1on1 sessions and infield evenings out with the trainers. Q Is my name, and photos taken, confidential if I attend boot camps?
A Your name and photos are confidential unless you are happy for us to publish the photo, or testimonial with your name. We reserve the right to publish testimonials although the name will be put as a single letter instead of the name.
Q How are clients paired with instructors for boot camps?
A After signing up, you will fill in a brief questionnaire that tells us what level you are, and what areas you need work on - whether its Approach Anxiety to State Control. You will then be paired up with the best trainer infield, thats appropriate.
Q How do I pay the balance of the boot camps after paying the deposit?
A The deposit is payed online through Paypal, or through bank transfer, if you dont have Paypal. You will pay the remaining balance on the first evening.
Eg if you singed up for Bootcamp Extra, you will pay £49 desposit - then the remaining £150 on the Friday evening when you arrive.
Q What if I need to cancel or reschedule my booked weekend boot camp?
